Amazon has announced the shipping of its Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch tablet will be shipping today.
The tablet boasts a number of new features including the Mayday button, which connects you to tech support in 15 seconds or less, highlighted in the new TV advert.
The 8.9-inch display has a 2560 x 1600 resolution with a pixel density of 339ppi and the tablet itself weighs 374g, which is 34 per cent lighter than the previous generation.
A 2.2GHz quad-core processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM is under the hood and you will also find an 8-megapixel rear camera and optional 4G.
The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch starts at £329 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model and it is available now.
