Black Friday 2013: Amazon deals include free Kindle eBook, laptops on sale - Examiner.com

The new Black Friday 2013 Amazon deals continue on Monday, Nov. 25, as there are multiple items across the website on special. Among them are a free Black Friday 2013 eBook for the Kindle eReaders, as well as savings on Windows 8 laptops. The latest deals extend for different durations as Amazon.com heads into Thanksgiving and Black Friday this week.

According to Holiday Gift Nation on Nov. 25, the Black Friday 2013 handbook by Juliana Yates is free for the next five days on Amazon. The guide includes tips and resources to help shoppers find the best deals online, learn about the hottest electronics, toys and gifts to get girls, boys, women or men this holiday season. The eBook, normally $ 2.99 on the site, works for the Kindle platform on various devices including the Kindle Fire HD or HDX, Paperwhite, iPad's, and computers with the Kindle app installed. The guide is free on Amazon’s site for download for the next five days.

In addition to that deal, Amazon is offering 20% or more off Windows 8 laptops for their "Gold Box Deal of the Day"Among the options are touchscreen Ultrabooks by Samsung, the Dell XPS 2-in-1 convertible touchscreen laptop, and an ASUS 10.1-inch laptop for just $ 239.00. While many customers may be picking up tablets, getting a new laptop for the price of (or less than) an iPad tablet isn't a bad deal since they tend to include keyboards and higher processing capacities for more productivity.

One other deal prominently displayed on Amazon's site is the Samsung Galaxy S III with no contract on Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile. The smartphones are priced at $ 259.99, and will work with either Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile. These particular services let customers pay monthly, but there is no contract binding them, so if they miss a payment for a month, they aren't hit with late fees, but they won't be able to use the phone until they pay again. That certainly makes it more convenient for changing to a new phone or leaving the phone unpaid if one goes away on a trip and doesn't need it for a month or so.

Amazon's Black Friday Deals Week continues for the next week, through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The website is still being mysterious about most of their deals, although some categories feature "Deals calendars" that customers may want to look at for details on upcoming sale prices on different items.
