Amazon releases new Kindle soon higher resolution – Hardware.no

Update: Amazon Kindle Voyage has now been officially announced at Amazon’s website. The new e-book reader costs $ 199 and $ 269 for the 3G version, and thickness of 7.6 millimeters.

In addition, Kindle Voyage a new way to browse sides on. Sequel leaked online

Now reports from other website TechRadar that the sequel to White Paper 2 may be underway. It was indicated by a new Kindle model that was posted on the German and Japanese version of Amazon’s own websites.

The information about the upcoming model was removed by Amazon shortly afterwards, suggesting that there was talk a mistake, but it was still out there long enough that some details were intercepted.

The new Kindle reader will visstnon called “Voyage” and will apparently get a resolution of 300 pixels per inch, up of 212 pixels per inch on the previous edition.

Thinnest ever

It seems that the Kindle Voyage also become thinner than before. The thickness is of only 8 millimeters, which supposedly makes it the thinnest Kindle model yet.

The price should also have been leaked and is at $ 190 for the regular Wi-Fi version and $ 250 for 3G edition. Launch date shall be according to the leak on November 4. Norwegian and Availability know we probably nothing more about before the official announcement.
